A catalogue of stoves and air conditioners, from design to launch, that grows with a single entry.

- Power and heating area pulled out of the supplier's description, the same on the card and the product page.
- Description and specs open and close. Works with a keyboard and without JavaScript.
Challenge
The client wanted to show stoves and air conditioners without a shop: just photos, descriptions and specs. Supplier data was inconsistent, full of marketing claims and numbers that didn't add up.
An online catalogue of stoves and air conditioners for the same company, with no prices or cart: photos, a description and specs for every product. It started as two separate sites, and I merged them into one catalogue that easily takes new categories.
What I did
- Catalogue with sections
- Menu, home page and footer build themselves from a list of sections. A new category takes one config entry plus its data and photos.
- Data clean-up
- An import that normalises names, moves specs into a table and drops marketing claims, warranties and an energy class that contradicts the stated SEER.
- Old links still work
- Addresses on the old peci. and klime. sites permanently lead to the same page in the new catalogue, for customers and for Google.
- Launch on the client's server
- A static site, SSL certificate, security headers and a script that restores the old server config if the new one fails its check.

Result
One static catalogue on the client's subdomain, with 48 products with consistent data and old addresses that still work. A new category is added without touching the design.
- products: 31 stoves and 17 air conditioners
- 48
- separate sites merged into one catalogue
- 2 to 1
